Hemlock Valley saw a significant increase in visitors through the pandemic and we are seeing many long time cabin owners looking to add value and modernize their older family cabins. This project started with a very classic A-Frame cabin – with a full home renovation to take this A-Frame cabin to A-Plus!

Our Designer Tanya Soon worked on a modern, rustic and cozy design plan with durable and classic finishes:
– Full renovation of master and powder bathrooms
– Supply new hot water tank
– Repair and restore existing footings and foundations
– Replace fireplace with more efficient wood burning option
– Increase insulation to all walls and crawlspace
– Replace all interior sidings while keeping the cabin panel feeling
– Upgrade electrical to bring it to code
– Fully renovated kitchen space
– Replace hose bibs with frost free hose bibs
– Supply and install weather drain system to address cold weather shut downs
– Pad and installation for backup generator
– Geotechnical and structural engineering
