Striking and dramatic custom cabin in Hemlock Valley at Sasquatch Ski Mountain with interior design by Fresh Eye Designs.

Our clients love Hemlock Mountain, they see it as a hidden gem and affordable only 1.5 hours from Vancouver. They wanted a timeless look and very family friendly being able to accommodate multiple families at a time. The home is built with full ICF (insulated concrete forms) construction for energy efficiency. The design evolved through construction and took on a loft inspired feel with the addition of required structural steel beams. Our clients love the rustic feel of beams and connected to the loft concept by adding brick, subway tile and industrial light fixtures and concrete inspired counters. Making the spaces rustic and industrial helped achieve the bullet proof low maintenance goal. A touch of romance is achieved through the open master shower and the view from the tub of the mountain.

Certainly the right back drop to enjoy a Dark and Stormy in this dramatic Dark & Stormy!
