Our Construction Manager moved to Canada over 18 years ago and we are so happy to have her in Canada – and what is more Canadian than settling in a log cabin? She and her partner settled in a snug log cabin and after some years, started a wish list – indoor gym space, a second spa like bathroom, a guest bedroom for visitors from Australia and an office to run their outfitting business.

This long overdue addition was complicated by ensuring the integrity of the original log home and integrated new log work into the existing home. An indoor gym was key for these two fitness lovers and allowed space for a guest bedroom – where previously there was only a loft master bedroom.

Through the renovation, our team helped improve mechanical systems and windows to improve energy efficiency. Working on the property, our team worked to ensure minimal impact on the beautiful stand of trees and space for the four dogs living on the land.

This space is better than visiting your favourite Bass Pro Shop – and it allowed the couple to feature their love of outfitting – finalizing their Home for the Hunter!
