Tiny Homes – Aitchelitz First Nation

We are thankful for our long term relationship with S.A.Y. Lands – working with Skowkale, Aitchelitz and Yakweakwioose communities on their new home and renovation needs. This unique tiny home project was a really exciting one to work on! Keeping Elders in mind, we designed a small home to meet the requirements of the community and CMHC guidelines. The homes are perfect for one person including storage space accessible from outside. They are designed with accessibility and aging in place in mind with large turning radiuses and low thresholds for individuals who may have mobility challenges. It was a true pleasure to build new, durable and comfortable homes for Aitchelitz Elders to age in place in their own community.
